FAQ

  • Not at all, reformer Pilates is great for elite athletes to complete beginners and everyone in between! However, everyone is different and if you have an injury or specific need we would like to see you 1:1 first.

  • Of course! We do recommend you book a starter session first so that we can work with you at your pace, tailor techniques around your injury and guide you through recovery.

  • These are a set of beginner sessions that introduce you to reformer pilates. They’re suitable for complete beginners and will get you confident with the equipment.

  • You need to be a symmetry member to access our drop in classes. This helps us ensure we provide appropriate personal attention and support in all of our classes, and that every individual can progress safely and swiftly.

  • You can join a symmetry course by booking through the advertised links or on our website.  If you wish to join a drop in you must have attended one of our courses first.

  • If you are new to reformers you can either join one of our group beginners’ foundations courses.  Our beginners’ courses include a 1:1 welcome session

  • Our welcome session is for new clients, it’s a chance for us to get to know you and to prepare you for a session. We go through health and medical needs of all new starters and talk about your goals and reasons for wanting to start reformers.  We then take you through a mini session, so you know what to expect in class.  It allows us to ensure when you come to class, we can support your needs and goals effectively, sometimes following the welcome session we may recommend a more suitable class or private sessions instead of a group class.

  • Symmetry 1 & 2 are available to those that have completed a course with us. It is a monthly membership that provides a set amount of class credits per term.

  • Memberships provide credits and you book your own classes when you prefer, course sessions are on the same day and time each week and are automatically booked for you at the time of booking, they are non-transferable.

  • Yes, you can book up to 6 classes in advance.
