🥳Movement is magic if you show up! 🫶

A couple of weeks ago two of my super talented young athletes turned up to the track for training not really wanting to run, I handed the session over to them and asked them what they fancied doing .. and no they didn't say walk and talk! They went off had a little chat & decided to do 3 x120m sprints, I as coach didn't care really what they did as long as they did something, after the 3 runs I asked them if they wanted to join the rest of the group and myself for some 80 meter sprints, I offered to join in to, that added a little more to the enjoyment, a chance to beat the coach, and yes they did, but hey I'm in my 40s and so they should!!  The session was one of the best quality they had both done for a long while but more importantly they both left with a smile on their faces! The moral of this is that they could have just stayed at home, sat on their phones or just stressed out about the pile of A level work they had to do, but no they showed up, changed their mood and moved!

Movement is magic and to be able to keep moving well we need to be consistent.

✨ Why Consistency Is Key ✨

Whether you’re an elite athlete chasing peak performance or a busy mum juggling family life, one thing remains true: consistency is everything.

You are more likely to reach your goals if you are consistent, planning to workout on set days of the week, make the time for you as you would for others.  Pilates, and any exercise isn’t about perfection,  it’s about showing up.

Every session, every mindful breath, every small improvement adds up. The magic doesn’t happen from doing one “perfect” session, but from moving your body regularly, building strength, mobility, and awareness over time.

For athletes, consistency creates the foundation that allows you to push further and perform better. For parents and everyday movers, it builds resilience, physically, mentally, and emotionally,  so you can handle whatever life throws at you with more ease.

Remember:
⭐️ You don’t have to do it all, you just have to keep doing something.
⭐️ Progress comes from persistence, not perfection.
⭐️ Every time you show up, you’re investing in your future self.So keep coming, keep moving, keep showing up — because that’s where the real transformation happens. 💪🧘‍♀️
